- Use white paper with NO LINES

-Use a BLACK inked marker or pen (regular pr fine sharpies work great!). Pencil writing will be too thin to engrave well

-Take photos in good lighting and straight from above

-Avoid shadows or streaks of light that will block wording

-I will resize and move words around if needed to fit the space, but please keep the size and shape of the tray in mind. With young kids, it may help to draw out a rectangle or oval for them to write in.
