Add a personal touch to your holiday baking with our Family Wreath Cookie Stamp. Made from durable acrylic, this stamp will personalize your Christmas cookies with your family name. A fun and unique addition to your festive treats!

TIPS AND TRICKS:

-Recipes with larger amounts of leavening agents (baking soda/powder) may "fluff up" too much while baking and lose definition. Try searching for cookie stamp recipes that include little to no leavening agents! NOTE: Not all recipes will work well with a stamp! I used THIS RECIPE and it worked great for me!

-Chill the dough! Some people chill the dough just before stamping (chill, stamp, cut, bake). Others do it before and after stamping to help them hold their shape while baking (chill dough, stamp, cut, chill cookies, bake). The recipe I used recommends 3 hours.

-Make sure your stamp is fully dry. Wash it the day before to make sure the water inside the small crevices has disappeared. You can even dry it with a blow dryer if you need it sooner.

-Dip your stamp into a bowl of flour before stamping if there's still some moisture or the dough is sticking inside.

HOW TO STAMP:

1.Make stamp friendly dough (can't be too sticky!), I used this recipe

2.Chill your dough in the fridge (the recipe above calls for 3 hours)

3. Prep surface (wax paper, sprinkle sugar or flour)

4. Grab a chunk of dough that's slightly larger than a golf ball and ball it up

5. Sprinkle sugar on your ball of dough (some people might prefer flour)

6. Press the stamp into the ball until the dough is your desired thickness AND it spreads out past the size of the stamp

7. Gently and slowly peel stamp off of the dough using the tab on the top.

8. Use a cookie cutter to cut off the excess dough around the stamped design. If you don't have a round cookie cutter, you can also use a glass or a mason jar lid! Aim for a cookie cutter that's about 2.75"(7cm) wide.

9. Place the cookies on a baking sheet with your preferred method of protection (parchment paper, silicone mat, etc.)

10. Bake according to your recipe instructions

CLEANING:

Best cleaned right after use so dough can't dry up inside! Use a toothbrush and some dish soap to scrub up left over bits of dough in warm water. Let air dry. Do not place in dishwasher.

Stamps are 3 inches wide but cookies should turn out closer to 2.75 inches/7cm
